How to get involved...

We've got a number of ways that you, your friends, your family or your organization or business can join our team!

Block Party Sponsor

Find out how you can assist us with the basic needs of our flagship program, the Block Party. Generally this consists of helping find clothing donations and bringing fresh fruit, breakfast burritos or whatever creative foods you can think of. We cover the coffee, donuts, music and everything else. Email us directly if you're interested and we'll tell you what weekends we have available.

Perfect for your family or coworkers to team up for. The holidays are a great time to give back but their are 52 weeks in the year and each one is full of opportunities to show you care.

Cool For School

Last year we sponsored a 'Sock Hop' dance at Dora Moore Elementary and challenged each class within the school to bring in donations of socks, one of the most important items for the homeless, underwear and toiletries. The classroom with the most donations would win a pizza party from HumaneKind.

If you're interested in setting up a similar event or would like to start a HumaneKind club in your school contact us and we'll let you know how to get started!

Corporate Challenge

Who doesn't like a good healthy competition? Especially if that competition is designed to bring extra financial assistance and volunteer hours to an organization designed to help those less fortunate throughout your community.

We've developed a point system which designates points for every material donation, volunteer hour and dollar donated. We're looking for 10 offices, businesses or organizations to compete. At the end of a 3 month period the group with the top point total gets an 'adult pizza party' (beer, drinks, pizza and more) courtesy of HumaneKind and C Squared Ciders of Denver.
